Interior window shutters
Interior window shutters were originally designed in the same way as an external window shutter mainly in hotter climates. Interior window shutters were popular with the Victorians in a solid form. Their popularity has grown over the last few decades. Shutters are now used internally because they offer versatility in light, ventilation and privacy which is simply not possible with curtains or blinds.
Interior window shutters have adjustable louvres, can be designed in a wide range of different styles and shapes and come in a large range of colours. They are particularly suitable for those with allergies as the louver blades are easier to clean than conventional window treatments preventing a build up of dust and allergens.
There are now a wide range of companies supplying shutters in the UK. We, at Dress My Windows, have many years experience in surveying and fitting shutters, which is a key element of the process. No matter how beautiful your shutters are, if they are poorly fitted they will look a mess!
Our fitters have the experience and expertise required to fit plantation shutters with an eye for detail, a patient un-rushed approach and a pride in their work, the quality of the finished results will speak for themselves. Our customers are impressed by the professional and thorough approach of our team.
